Help us evaluate a reliable and cost-effective microfluidic fabrication technology.
CMC is seeking lead clients to trial the FlowJEM microfluidics technology. This fabrication technology provides the option of rigid polycarbonate or cyclic olefin co-polymer materials, and benefits from a cost-effective process with a two-to-four week turnaround.
Design guidlines:
- Custom user designs fabricated based on .dxf files (visit the FlowJEM website to download the design template files)
- Chip foot-print: circular, 4.5 cm diameter (Figure 1)
- Single microfluidic layer and one channel depth
- Maximum aspect ratio: 1:1
- Minimum channel dimension: 20 µm width and 50 µm depth
- Material choices: polycarbonate, cyclic olefin co-polymer
- Fluidic interface: 2-8 fluidic inputs
- Options:
- Heat pad below chips (Figure 2a)
- Integrated custom thermocouple (Figure 2a)
- Interface fixture with threaded connectors (Figure 2b)
