Wireless-enabled Microsystems

CMC is engaged in the development of leading edge wireless-enabled microsystems.  We support prototyping resources, including hardware, software and reference designs, that allow you to develop small form factor, autonomous, wireless-enabled microsystem nodes.  These platforms range from turn-key wireless data links that interface to a sensor or actuator to fully customizable design environments. Contact CMC to understand how you can access these resources, or  work with CMC to develop a proposal for support on a collaborative project aimed at microsystem innovation.

Compact Wireless

CMC provides resources to help you build a custom, wireless-enabled microsystems. The Compact Wireless Platform is a CMC design for a sensor-based low-power microsystem.  It is built in a miniaturized form factor, wireless-enabled using the Zigbee protocol. The platform is available as a design file that you can use as a starting point to build your own system, including CAD drawings, a user guide and CMC engineering support.  Alternatively, you may contact CMC to apply for engineering and manufacturing support to assist you in integrating your sensor with this verified functional system, or in developing a fully customized microsystem solution based on the Compact Wireless template.
