Canadian Workshop on MEMS and Microfluidics: The Integration of Microtechnologies—Research & Applications CMC Microsystems is organizing CWMEMS 2007 to bring together researchers, developers and leaders from industry, academia and government who aim to explore the integration of MEMS and microfluidics with other microsystems technologies. It also provides a forum for researchers to share ideas and feedback about current and future products and services offered by CMC, including those for MEMS, microfluidics, photonics, microsystems integration and prototyping platforms. The theme of this one-day workshop is "The Integration of Microtechnologies—Research & Applications". The program will feature invited talks by industrial and academic experts, poster presentations by Canadian students and researchers, a presentation on MEMS and microfluidics, photonics, integration and platform products and services offered by CMC and a wealth of networking opportunities. CWMEMS is for members of the scientific community in university, industry and government who wish to strengthen alliances, embark on new collaborations, explore microtechnology integration and identify opportunities for research and development in MEMS, microfluidics, photonics and other microsystems technologies. For additional information about CWMEMS 2007, please contact: Sonya Shorey, Director of Marketing Communications, 613.530.4698 or shorey@cmc.ca .
CMC would like to extend special thanks to the following sponsors and government partners for their generous support of Canada's microsystems community:
