Description
This 5-day, hands-on training course, organized by CMC Microsystems, is targeting the Cadence Analog/Mixed Signal Design Methodology Kit, also available from CMC Microsystems. The course covers the design methodology and Cadence software used for the development and simulation of analog blocks, digital blocks, and their integration in a mixed signal design. The course will follow the same outline as the Cadence A/MS Design Methodology Kit and cover the following modules:
- AMS Design Flow Overview
- Design Environment Infrastructure
- Design Partitioning
- Design Concept Validation
- AMS Constraint-Driven Block Creation
- Block IP Characterization
- External IP Import
- Floorplanning
- Design Functional Verification
- Digital Block Authoring
- Design Physical Assembly
- Design Physical Verification
- Post-Layout Design Sign-Off Functional Verification
Training materials will be provided at the course. Event seats for individuals other than university employees are available on a space-available basis.

Course cancellations must be received at least 1 week before the beginning date of the course in question to receive a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations made after the deadline will not receive a refund. CMC Microsystems makes no commitments on refunds for travel or accommodations.
