Agilent ADS for RF Design Training Course

The course is ideal for those interested in learning the Agilent ADS tool set and RF design.


This 3-day, hands-on training course, organized by CMC Microsystems, is targeting the Agilent ADS software, also available from CMC Microsystems. The course covers the use of the Agilent ADS tool set for RF design. The course will follow the following outline:

  • Day 1 - Workspaces and Simulation Tools
    • Workspace and Library Structure in ADS
    • Linear, Non-linear Simulation, and Tuning
    • Display of Simulation Data
  • Day 2 - Circuit Simulation Techniques
    • Optimization and Design Guides
    • Harmonic Balance Techniques
    • Circuit Envelop and Modulated Sources
  • Day 3 – Layout and EM
    • Layout Basics
    • EM (Momentum) Basics
    • Layout and EM Techniques

Training materials will be provided at the course. Event seats for individuals other than university employees are available on a space-available basis.
