MNRC 2008 best paper awards are specifically dedicated to graduate students. In order to qualify for the
awards, the papers must have a graduate student as the first author and be presented by a graduate
student. Submissions will be accepted for both paper and oral presentations however only the oral presentations will compete for the following awards:
• Top 10% will receive the GOLD LEAF Certificate ($1000)
• 10-20% will receive the SILVER LEAF Certificate ($600)
• 20-30% will receive the BRONZE LEAF Certificate ($400)
All accepted papers will be published on IEEE Xplore and be awarded at the CMC Microsystems Annual Symposium, Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ottawa, ON

All paper submissions (draft and final) must be formatted using the standard IEEE US letter templates. The IEEE templates may be downloaded here:
Submitting your paper:
Online uploading for paper submissions is now available through the MNRC 2008 website at https://www1.cmc.ca/symposium_2008/registration/start/MNRC
Important Dates:
- Paper electronic submission deadline (4 pages, US letter): Extended to 12 Midnight, August 18, 2008
- Notification of acceptance/rejection into competition: September 8, 2008
- Camera-ready papers (4 pages, US letter): September 20, 2008
