Fabrication and Pricing

Fabrication services are available for academic research and industrial R&D. Discounts are available to Prototyping Subscribers, including a Canadian Academic Peer-Review Price that is available to researchers who are successful in CMC’s peer-reviewed resource allocation process. Other price options are available. Prices are subject to change.

New Faculty Discounts

Greater discounts are available on many fabrication technologies for new faculty members.

  • Who qualifies: NSERC-eligible faculty engaged in microsystems research who assumed academic appointment at a Canadian university within the previous four years or are new to microsystems research.
  • Benefit: An additional 50 to 100% discount off the Canadian Academic Peer-Reviewed Price for prototype manufacturing. This discount can be applied towards up to two designs per year (for two years).
