Requirements to Access Products and Services

To access CMC-provided products and services, you must have an Account in '100% Completed' status, Subscription, and the right licensing in place for you or your organization.

  1. To access any of the CAD tools/ technology or to access the equipment loan pool, a faculty member must purchase a Professor Research subscription  ($1000.00). Please go to https://www.cmc.ca/WhatWeOffer/Subscription.aspx to review the subscription details.
  2. To review the list of tools that are available go to https://www.cmc.ca/WhatWeOffer/Design/Tools.aspx
  3. Faculty Member
    • Set up an account by going to www.cmc.ca
    • Enter all details until your account shows as being 100% complete
    • After you complete all of the required information, our Registrar will confirm your account information and advise you once your account is active.
    • Purchase a subscription
    • Order confirmation email will be sent with access information
    • Access will then be available in 1 to 2 hours.
    • At that time you will be able to use the link below to download the CAD tool quick start guides which will help you get set up.
  4. Student access
    • Set up an account by going to www.cmc.ca
    • Enter all details until your account shows as being 100% complete
    • Complete all of the registration questions including to identify faculty advisor, as it is this account connection that allows access.
    • After you complete all of the required information, our Registrar will confirm your account information and advise you once your account is active.
    • Access will then be available in 1 to 2 hours.
    • At that time you will be able to use the link below to download the CAD tool quick start guides which will help you get set up.
