This two-part webinar series co-hosted by CMC and ePIXfab is part of a collaborative effort in the European Union FP7 ESSenTIAL project. The events cover prototype packaging technologies for discrete photonic devices and hybrid integration of photonic, optoelectronic, and/or microelectronic devices/circuits. There is also a live polling session at the end of the webinar for participants to provide feedback on their packaging needs and requirements.

CMC Webinar Series: Optical-fluidic Microsystem

June 12, 2012-  This Opto-Fluidics webinar, (co-hosted by CMC Microsystems and Lionix BV) is part of a collaborative effort in developing a photonic and microfluidic integration technology that will be available through CMC Microsystems later this year. This webinar will introduce a method of monolithic integration of  SixNy based optical waveguides with a microfluidic device, and a solution for fluidic and optical packaging and interfacing, as well as potential application areas in Bio and Chemical related research fields.
