These are the training courses we offered in the past.

TrainingDateLocationDescription
May 1 to 12, 2017 University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario

CMC provides this training in partnership with the NSERC CREATE Silicon Electronic-Photonic Integrated Circuits Si-EPIC Program.

August 8 to 12, 2016 McMaster University, Hamilton, ON

In partnership with the University of British Columbia and the NSERC CREATE Silicon Electronic-Photonic Integrated Circuits (Si-EPIC) Program, CMC Microsystems is providing an opportunity for training in the design, fabrication and test of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) targeting IME's silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology.

May 2 to 6, 2016 McGill University, Montréal, Québec, Canada

Embedding silicon photonic circuits in diverse systems is the new challenge as the underlying technology proved to be possible. This workshop provides knowledge, tools and opportunity to define and devise solutions for putting these devices in nano/opto/bio-systems.

May 27 to June 2, 2016 Université Laval, Québec, QC

CMC provides this training in partnership with the NSERC CREATE Silicon Electronic-Photonic Integrated Circuits Si-EPIC Program.

February 17 to 19, 2016 University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

This course covers efficient parallel programming of Intel Xeon family processors and Intel Xeon Phi Coprocessors, including lecture and practice on available programming models and optimizations, and usage of the Intel software development and diagnostic tools.

August 31 to September 4, 2015 Concordia University, Montréal, QC, Canada

In partnership with the University of British Columbia and the NSERC CREATE Silicon Electronic-Photonic Integrated Circuits Si-EPIC Program, CMC Microsystems is providing an opportunity for training in the design, fabrication and test of CMOS integrated circuits targeting GF(IBM) 0.13 µm CMOS technology.

August 19 to 24, 2015 University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC

In partnership with the University of British Columbia and the NSERC CREATE Silicon Electronic-Photonic Integrated Circuits (Si-EPIC) Program, CMC Microsystems is providing an opportunity for training in the design, fabrication and test of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) targeting IME's silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology.

June 22 to 26, 2015 University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC

This 5-day hands-on training course, organized by CMC Microsystems, covers the design methodology and software used for the development, simulation and optimization of mixed signal designs.

June 1 to 5, 2015 Edmonton, Alberta

This training consists of two back-to-back courses:

May 3 to 19, 2015 University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC

CMC provides this training in partnership with the NSERC CREATE Silicon Electronic-Photonic Integrated Circuits Si-EPIC Program.

May 6 to 8, 2015 Toronto, Ontario

National Instruments (NI) products give you the flexibility to address machine vision needs in your research, test and measurement, and industrial automated vision applications. This course teaches you to understand the fundamentals of machine vision, use and select the hardware components of a machine vision system, and implement machine vision tasks and inspections using LabVIEW.
