Keysight RFPro Online Course

September 28 and 29, 2021

Keysight ADS RFPro is an analysis tool integrated within the Pathwave suite or as an add-on to Cadence Virtuoso allowing you to perform electromagnetic analysis using Method of Moments and Finite Element Methods on your circuit components such as RFIC’s and MMICs’.  This two-day course will cover the RFPro Interface, simulate an inductor, perform matching and low-noise amplifier design.  The final day will conclude with a lab on packaging impairments.

  • Part 1: ADS workspace, EM solvers and RFPro architecture
    Description: Workspace libraries, cells, technologies, introduction of Momentum/FEM solvers and RFPro window presentation
  • Lab 1: RFPro User Interface
  • Part 2: Nets, Components, Pins
    Description: Nets types, components roles, virtual and reference pins, user-defined EM analysis
  • Lab 2: RFPro Net Extraction

Day 2

  • Part 3: EM cosimulation, Circuit excitation and multi-technology design
    Description: RFPro sub-circuit generation, Design Partitioning, EM circuit excitation and multi-technology simulation
  • Lab 3: RFPro Design Partitioning
  • Lab 4: Smart Mount

Course cancellations must be received in writing at least one (1) week before the beginning date of the course in question to receive a full refund of the registration fee.
