Modelithics COMPLETE+3D Library for Ansys HFSS Overview

A partnership between Modelithics and CMC Microsystems now makes it possible for all approved university faculty members and students to have free access to the Modelithics EXEMPLAR Library. Universities worldwide have taken advantage of the Modelithics models for academic projects and coursework.

Modelithics now offers the EXEMPLAR Library for Ansys HFSS. This library is a representative subset of all models available in the Modelithics COMPLETE+3D Library for Ansys HFSS. The Modelithics COMPLETE+3D Library for Ansys HFSS includes both Microwave Global Models™ for capacitors, inductors, and resistors as well as 3D geometry models. Microwave Global Models scale with respect to part values, substrates, and solder pads. These models are ideal for EM/circuit co-simulations. Modelithics 3D models take design analysis even further by capturing electromagnetic interactions between components and surrounding elements. In total, the Modelithics COMPLETE+3D Library for Ansys HFSS includes over 300 models and represents over 18,000 parts. Over 200 3D models are included.

The Modelithics EXEMPLAR Library for Ansys HFSS includes both Microwave Global Models and 3D geometry models. Also included in this library are several example projects. These projects demonstrate 3D simulations, EM/circuit co-simulations, part-value scaling, substrate scaling, and more. The Modelithics EXEMPLAR Library for Ansys HFSS includes over 30 models and represents more than 3,000 parts. Over 40 3D models are included.
