International Roundtable Discussion convened by CMC Microsystems at DAC ’19

May 31, 2019: Kingston, ON: CMC Microsystems, manager of Canada’s National Design Network for Microelectronics, Photonics and Embedded Computing is convening its annual meeting of international organizations to discuss best practices and enhanced cooperation in microelectronics and nanotechnology innovation as part of the Design Automation Conference (DAC) 2019. The meeting will take place takes place Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at DAC in Las Vegas, Nevada.

CMC has confirmations from international research organizations to participate including Germany, France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Taiwan, and Japan. Collectively, the representatives will provide a global perspective of some of the most challenging aspects of future microelectronics and nanotechnology design.

CMC has provided strategic leadership and convened prior meetings of this group, says Gord Harling, President & CEO of CMC Microsystems.

“The discussion and input from this group discussion have enabled organizations to get a more comprehensive view of the challenges and opportunities in hardware innovation. Together, we have identified ways and means of tackling microelectronics design challenges that would have been too costly or counter-productive to attempt independently.”
