Microelectronics Technical Support

Innovative and energetic with a passion for technology? The role of Microelectronics Technical Support understands client research needs and finds solutions (specification, design, prototype fabrication, packaging and testing) that satisfy the client while making effective use of available resources. A rewarding challenge! Responsible for supporting CMC’s collaboration with INO, the incumbent will be responsible for integrated system designs with custom electronics embedded in photonics, as well as INO’s optics/photonics offerings. There will be opportunities to work on writing/developing project proposals that leverage resources and skills available at both CMC and INO. The successful candidate possesses a solid understanding of optoelectronic and microelectronics technologies. They will bring innovation and enthusiasm to the task with excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation) and interpersonal skills, possessing the initiative to work with minimal supervision.
