A partnership between Modelithics®, Inc. and CMC Microsystems now makes it possible for all approved university faculty members and students to have free access to the Modelithics EXEMPLAR Library. Universities worldwide have taken advantage of the Modelithics models for academic projects and coursework.
Modelithics provides the RF/microwave/mmWave engineering community with libraries of highly accurate simulation models for passive and active devices. The models are currently available for six simulation software platforms, such as Keysight Technologies’ PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS), Keysight Technologies’ PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys), Ansys HFSS, and Cadence Virtuoso Spectre RF.
The EXEMPLAR Library is an expanded trial library that consists of approximately 15% of the full collection of Modelithics models. Included in this library are passive-component models along with nonlinear transistor and diode models. The EXEMPLAR Library for Ansys HFSS also includes a sampling of Modelithics 3D models, which are based on the physical characteristics of each component and can be used in full wave 3D electromagnetic (EM) simulations.
The EXEMPLAR Library also comes with many example projects that enable the library to be used as an effective educational tool. For those who wish to take advantage of the full collection of Modelithics models, the COMPLETE Library™ includes over 750 models from nearly 70 vendors, representing more than 18,000 components.
